Storage Instructions
We recommend you store your coffee in a cool, dry, preferably dark place. If you have a dedicated airtight container for your coffee… even better. Coffee keeps best away from heat sources, but not in the fridge or freezer. Condensation and ice crystals can impact your beans flavor. Heat, light, air, and moisture are all enemies of freshness. If you are grinding your own coffee, we recommend doing so as close to brewing as possible. Pre-grinding will impact freshness as well. Water makes up 99% of your cup, so make sure the water you are using is fresh, clean, and filtered if possible. If your water does not taste good, neither will your coffee.
The last enemy of coffee is time! Stockpiling coffee in your cabinet will do nothing to improve your experience. At Baracoa Coffee we are committed to your satisfaction and offer timed shipments of fresh coffee to reflect your personal consumption rate. Whether you go through your coffee in a week, or two, or it takes you a month… We will take the guess work out of the equation. We will ship your fresh bag to arrive just as your last is finished!
